The gods, who are around to help people out or something, want to train you to take on the greater evils of the world. It turns out you are an immortal - a growing selection of people who come back to life after dying. It’s the future and, after a mishap with some baddies, you wake up amongst your dead fellow soldiers. It’s definitely along the same lines as Star Trek Online, but with random disconnects and swords. Whilst it downloaded the 10GB of game files, I had a few images that kept scrolling past, showing things that aren’t yet in the game, so I’m unsure how rideable ostriches, alien robots and an army with laser-powered metal swords fit into things. It’s definitely an F2P MMO, and appears to be on the side of Star Trek Online or Guild Wars 2, with wandering around stabbing things with a camera view behind or above the character. This time I went for the PC version of Skyforge. Will I find something new to love? Will I find something new to despise? I'll take a full half hour, no matter how bad it gets or how badly I do, to see if this is the game for me.
